Skills and Services

Stunts are a wonderful facet of being a professional highliner that enables me to work closely with a variety of media types. From commercials to live demonstrations, using my balance skills to create and execute incredible feats is just one of the many ways I love to utilize my knowledge and abilities!

Sponsorship has been a great method to support my slackline endeavors with top of the line equipment and technical clothing. This cooperation enables me to support companies I believe in, while also “break-testing” items they give me, and offering feedback or reviews. I love being an ambassador for brands that I can genuinely recommend to my peers.

Rigging for over a decade, I love the opportunity to engineer difficult projects with my knowledge of rope work, forces and equalization. Be it for a highline installation or otherwise, I truly thrive on the creativity and elegance needed to install a line on century-old buildings or to manufacture an anchor where one doesn’t exist.

Public speaking has been another outlet to share my experiences as a highliner. Among my repertoire is a TEDx talk on fear and intuition as experienced through highlining leash-less. I have evolved this talk into fear workshops based on the same ideas. I also can provide keynote speeches for a variety of events, corporate or otherwise. Fear is wonderful topic that is relatable and transferable despite the activity. A viral youtube video involving two semi-trucks for a Volvo spot was just the beginning!

Despite pursuing slacklining as a passion full force, I have also turned it into my profession. My team (somewhereelseland) and I work closely with sponsors in order to support our slackline endeavors with top of the line equipment and technical clothing. This cooperation enables us to support companies we believe in, while also “break-testing” everything they give us, since we fall under the extreme-heavy-users group. We are also highly skilled in rigging, and this enables us to be well rounded for many types of jobs related to the sport.

In addition to these athletic services, a new outlet for work has been public speaking. Among my experience is a TED talk on fear and intuition as experienced through highlining. I have evolved this talk into fear workshops based on the same ideas. A viral youtube video involving two semi-trucks for a Volvo spot was just the beginning!
